This course is concentrated into 12 weeks. As an introduction to Italian as a spoken and written language, the course is designed for students who wish to be fully immersed in the language; thus students who are willing to do extensive and intensive oral practice, regular laboratory work, reading and writing exercises.

Every month our social programme's organiser arranges social and cultural activities, such as Italian film-shows, lectures and talks on various aspects of Sienese and Italian culture (for example, the history of Siena and the Palio, Italian Opera, music, politics, fashion etc.), excursions to places of relevant cultural interest and guided tours of Siena.
