The General French course takes place in the morning for a total of 20 lessons per week. The afternoons offer an approach to Provencal cuisine from a theoretical and practical point of view through cookery workshops, presentation of Provencal products, a wine-tasting and a visit to a local wine and olive-oil producer. There are 15 lessons of Provencal cookery lessons per week. This includes test, information and guided tour on the first day of the course. The school in Aix-en-Provence is situated in a charming turn-of-the-century building, facing on one side, a boulevard lined with magnificent plane trees and on the other, lovely green gardens. The town centre is within a 3 minute walk. Since opening in 1972 the school has welcomed more than 1000 students from over 25 different countries. The average age of students attending our centre is higher than other French language schools making it an ideal centre for our 'culture vultures' and maturer learners.
