General French classes in the mornings and painting classes in the afternoons (6 afternoons/total of 15 hours per week) run by a professional painter in her workshop (inside and/or outside): techniques used in oil painting and charcoal drawing, theoretical classes about the painters of the region and their impact on the history and culture of Provence.

The school in Aix-en-Provence is situated in a charming turn-of-the-century building, facing on one side, a boulevard lined with magnificent plane trees and on the other, lovely green gardens. The town centre is within a 3 minute walk. Since opening in 1972 the school has welcomed more than 1000 students from over 25 different countries. The average age of students attending our centre is higher than other French language schools making it an ideal centre for our 'culture vultures' and maturer learners.

The international airport of Marseille-Provence is less than thirty minutes from Aix and direct shuttles will take you to the town centre every hour. The ‘TGV’ (intercity Paris-Marseille) stops in Aix-en-Provence TGV station (3 hours) with bus connection to the town centre. L’Autoroute du Soleil’ (A7motorway) from Paris to Nice via Lyon runs through Aix.
